Best Pram - Best Pushchair - Best Stroller

Here at Best Pram, we’ve set ourselves the mammoth task of combing the length and breadth of the www galaxy we know and love, to find the pram, travel system, jogger, double or lightweight stroller we think deserving of our ‘pram of the month’ award. Crikey.

You may imagine this would be a simple process, taking little more effort than setting google to work, reviewing prams, and then wham, bam, a winner is found. Oh, but you you’d be VERY much mistaken. The complicated algorithm* we’ll be using to decide our ‘best pram of the month’ award winners will go way, waaayyyy beyond whether a pram is the cheapest on the market, or the lightest pram around. It may ultimately come down to the incalculable explosion of joy you get when you spot a pram that you HAVE to have, regardless of which boxes it does or doesn’t tick on your ‘must-have’ feature list.

This method of choosing means you might not always agree with our choice, since a person’s choice of pram is often as unique as their choice of hairstyle, and their reasons for choosing it uniquer still. But - and here’s our lofty aim - our pram of the week award is designed to inspire debate, to encourage you to comment or shout up if you have that VERY pram, with your own take on why it is, or even isn’t, worthy of our award. You might even want to suggest another pram you feel deserving of a future spot in the ‘pram of the month’ limelight.

The competition will be fierce and the debate fiercer still. I fully expect to have the kettle on constant boil and, for I am nothing if not dedicated, the biscuit barrel my well be drained dry in my dogged pursuit of prams worthy of such praise. What a trooper I am.

And so we begin. I hope you will find the results illuminating, and be inspired to pitch in with your own take on our choices. I think we’re going to have lots of fun.
