Best Pram - Best Pushchair - Best Stroller

I was rather surprised to discover that this week’s best-selling pushchair at Mothercare - stockists of the biggest selection of prams and pushchairs in the UK - is the Quinny Buzz 3-wheeler, 2008 model. 

On hearing the news that so many excited parents-to-be have chosen this beauty as the best pram for them, I decided it was time I took a closer look for myself, and have to admit I can now well see the attraction. The black model especially is a dashing, super sexy pram to look at: sleek, stylish and heavy on the list of features I’d be looking for - forward and rear-facing, easy fold/unfold with a unique gas-spring for ‘automatic’ unfolding are just two of the main biggies on my own ‘must-have’ list, but the list goes on and on.

What really impresses me about this pushchair, however,  and catapults it straight to the top of my ‘want it’ radar, is the news that the new 2008 model now comes with two seat units - one suitable from birth to 12 months, and the second from 12 months plus.  How cool is that?  I always felt Boo - my gorgeous baby boy - was lost in his pushchair seat for the first few months after moving up from the carrycot, but the old model Quinny was crossed off our list as I worried about how long the compact seat unit would accomodate a growing toddler.  I’m delighted that the designers have addressed this issue and come up with a fantastic, practical solution.
